	Continuance Dance &#38;amp; Athletics is a Sacramento based training facility specializing in development programs and showcasing events. With expansion of the organization came the need to create a new branding system.&#38;nbsp;

	The logo is the visual centerpiece of the brand, representing the organization at a glance. It’s designed to be versatile and impactful, working seamlessly across all platforms and mediums. The variations of the logo ensure it remains effective and recognizable in any context. Each version is a reflection of the brand’s values and adaptability, ensuring it meets the needs of different environments.

	The color palette is a cornerstone of the brand's identity, helping create a consistent and recognizable presence across all touchpoints. Each color in the palette has been carefully chosen to reflect the brand’s values, evoke the right emotions, and connect with target audience. Inspired by vivid and bold energies that embody the liveliness of dance and movement, this select palette captures Continuance’s forward-thinking ethos.

	Nickel Gothic Variable is a robust display sans serif typeface featuring customizable width and slant as well as flat horizontal edges. This typeface unmistakably captures the innovative and bold spirit of Continuance.Hyperspace Race Variable is a futuristic display typeface that resides under the wordmark. Its simplicity and legibility exemplify Continuance's forward thinking. 

Elza Text and its various weights act as the voice of the brand's communications. Its professional yet approachable look makes any messaging easy to read.

	Used extensively in HUDs, user interfaces, and logos from science fiction movies, Eurostile and its Bold Extended variant are the quintessential “futuristic” type. Bringing that association to the Soulection identity further builds upon the brand’s forward-thinking vision. Everett, a contemporary grotesque sans-serif, complements Eurostile as a sharp and distinct typographic component used for copy.

	First impressions are critcal for establishing new brand identities. Employing the exciting, bold, and refined characteristics that define the Soulection sound in a visual format requires equally striking colors. The color combination of red, orange and purple are influenced from sunset skies and neon lights of city life. By bridging the timelessness of stunning skies with the liveliness of artificial lights found in clubs and city streets, we arrive at this vibrant and warm palette.

	Soulection Radio is a weekly Apple Music radio show hosted by co-founder Joe Kay. New music from the collective’s artists is showcased alongside upcoming talent. Using the brand’s type and color, a new look accompanies the sound to ultimately deliver a recognizable audio and visual experience. Imagery of natural landscapes and clouds serve as a backdrop and texture to push the visuals even farther.

	Another component of the brand experience is a mobile app aimed at bringing users the latest from Soulection. The simple and clean approach to the app put the music and visual content in the spotlight. Large scale covers fill the screen with accompanying information just below. The menu expands into four sections, easily readable thanks to the large type. Navigating the Supply section leads users to the store where Soulection merch can be purchased. The item screen displays simple product photography and a monochromatic interface.

	Kinjo Hand Roll Bar is a local Midtown Sacramento restaurant offering a modern and friendly sushi experience.

	The goal of the branding campaign was to establish a system that guided Kinjo’s visual communications and differentiate the restaurant from competitors.
 
Taking inspiration from the triangular shape of hand rolls and fish fins, Kinjo’s logo-mark balances attributes of simplicity, friendliness, and quality while the typography takes visual cues from Japanese lettering. Together, these elements reflect the key qualities that define Kinjo.

	Primary colors are the colors that are used in the logo and wordmark. The wood brown color is inspired by the natural tones of traditional Japanese wooden architecture, communicating a sense of structure and welcomeness. The dark grey color pulls from the steel blade of chef's knives, symbolizing dedication to craftsmanship. Finally, white embodies simplicity and cleanliness.

Secondary colors of sage, sand, vermilion, and smoke are influenced by hues found in the ingredients of handrolls such as nori, scallop, tuna, and rice.

	A clean, modern, and simple aesthetic were key in distinguishing Uplifted THC apart from other brands that often employed less refined indentites. 

Legible and neutral typography communicates these qualities through the use of Optician Sans Regular and Montserrat Medium. The former of these typefaces is based on the historical Snellen and Sloan eye charts and optotypes used by opticians, making the logotype easy to ready and recognizable from a distance.

Alluding to the colors historically associated with cannabis, hues of green and purple build the chromatic foundation of Uplifted.&#38;nbsp;The combination of these colors are not only visually appealing, but create a sense of balance and contrast.

	In order to communicate the company’s values of simplicity and innovation, brand collateral must reflect visually reflect a balance of clarity and progressiveness. This is demonstrated by the uncomplicated layouts of both physical and digital mediums. Reduction of visual clutter distinguishes the brand as forward-looking as well as helps the audience interact with the brand.

The web experience serves a straightforward retail extension of the brand allowing visitors to browse and order products. Keeping visuals and layouts as clear as possible makes browsing simple and easy.

	To promote their New Year’s Eve celebratory dinner, Zócalo launched the&#38;nbsp;Cena de Año Nuevo campaign. 

Featuring festive motifs of gold sparkles and bubbly champagne, the campaign started with printed materials of menus and flyers.&#38;nbsp;

	To attend the Cena de Año Nuevo, customers must make a reservation via the website. A promotional banner and instructional graphic were created to guide the user and simplify the reservation process.

With Zócalo’s active following on social media, it was important to share the campaign announcement and details through Facebook and Instagram posts and stories. Menus and flyers featuring key art were adapted to optimized assets for both platforms, ensuring visual consistency across print and digital deliverables.
